The first day of a new week dawns in St. Petersburg where siblings Mashka and Aleksei Sharov proceed with their academic lives. As the days go by they gradually become aware that they are being watched. Paranormal events wreck havoc on their lives, and they realise that they are not as human as they had always believed themselves to be. As others enter their lives, promising protection and guidance, the Sharovs do not know who to trust, or if they can even trust themselves.
